You know what I love? Colors. Bright colors. All colors. And you know what I really, really love? Bright colors that you find occurring naturally within nature. Maybe it is just me, but a lot of times when I think of “nature-y” colors I think of the typical earthy neutral colors… brown, green, and all of the variations in between. So something that I just really get way too excited about is seeing bright colors like hot pink or lime green as part of real-life nature and not just man-made stuff. It’s the little things in life that matter, right? This is one of those “little things” that just make my sappy, nerdy heart soar 🙂 This past weekend we decided to go to the aquarium and see all of the fish, Sydney gets this kind of crazy look in her eye when we see fish, she loves them, so I guess the “Squidney” nickname fits her, right? Of course I was thinking we would just go look at the fish and let Sydney have some fun, but then there I was at all of the various exhibits drooling over the bright, pretty colors so I’d say it was really just a win-win all the way around. Here’s some of the photos from our day, just try to tell me some of these fish aren’t just amazing! Mother Nature sure does have an artist in her!
