Sunny from Onyx and Blush

Hello, World!

Welcome to my little world on my slice of the internet, Onyx & Blush Co! I’m just a girl on a mission to master how to paint with the colors of the wind and truly love and enjoy life in all of its messy, crazy, wildly beautiful glory.

I love pretty things, nifty tricks, being a mommy, clever ideas, interesting words, all things nerdy, and exciting adventures… so this blog is just a melting pot of a little of all those things! I believe life is truly about experiencing and learning, no matter what your circumstances are. We exist to experience, and I think that is a beautiful thing. I share my story, my little world, on this blog to document that journey, and hopefully encourage others to find and love their own journey. I have a pretty awesome BFF (aka: the husband) and a wriggly, sassy little girl (aka: the squid). I go crazy over everything sparkly, pink, or girly. I love gerbera daisies, art, and Coca-Cola. I’m completely unashamed of my obsession with all things Harry Potter (always!) and I use way too many exclamation points!!! You can read more about why I started this blog here and 25 random facts to introduce me here, and more about who I am as a blogger here. Welcome to my story.

    Hi Sunny,
I’m glad I ran into your blog from discovering you from, Pinterest. I love your name too,
I am newly pregnant and have been reading your suggestions and blogs. I enjoy writing and I think you are a great writer too. Keep up the good work. How did you get started with blogging and creating your own site? Start with a few bucks for a domain name then build a website right? Thanks for sharing your story and blogs. I look forward to more!

You are so sweet, you made my whole day! Congrats on the new baby, that is so exciting! As for the blog, there are a lot of ways people can start up, I chose to start writing, and then once I was ready I purchased my domain name and built my website! It was a little bit of work, but so worth it for a hobby that I love to do!
