PSA: I just made the best brownies in the entire world and they only had 8 ingredients! Like… I actually can’t even believe it, they’re SO good! I knew I had to jump on RIGHT NOW and record this recipe so I wouldn’t forget it ever, and so you too can have the best brownies ever tasted. (insert drooling!)
And because I hate recipe posts that force me to sift through twelve paragraphs of “creative fluff and storytelling” before I finally get to the part I need, we’re just going to jump right on in with this recipe.
Here’s what you need for ingredients:
-2 Cups white sugar
-2 sticks melted butter (or one cup!)
-2 teaspoons vanilla (I’m REALLY liberal with mine though!)
-4 eggs
-1 Cup unsweetened cocoa powder
-1 1/4 Cup flour
-1 teaspoon salt
-2 teaspoons baking powder
All ready?? Here we go! Instructions:
Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees and spraying your 9×13 pan.
If you are using a smaller pan (like an 8×8 or 9×9) I’d suggest cutting the recipe in half maybe, they’re very thick and rich already in the 9×13! Otherwise, prep yourself for monster brownies (no complaints there!) and adjust your cook time.
Mix together sugar, melted butter, vanilla, and eggs using a whisk.
In a separate bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder.
Add your dry ingredients to your wet ingredients, and mix. The batter will be quite thick, that is totally fine!
Spoon your batter into your 9×13 pan and spread evenly into the pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes, and voila!
**If you want to get really fun with it, these would be so yummy with either walnuts or chocolate chips mixed in!**
If you’re looking for something less chocolate-y, try this recipe for snickerdoodles that I love. I promise, it’s equally as delicious!
