With summer quickly approaching and having gone through so many changes with my body lately (hello breast reduction and weight loss!) my wardrobe is in DESPERATE need of some love to get ready for the season.

First, you NEED a boho dress.

I’ve been swooning at all of the gorges boho dresses I’ve seen all over the place but have never been able to find one that doesn’t look like a granny nightgown in a size bigger than a large.

Babes… I’ve got curves. A large just isn’t gunna cut it.

Luckily, SS Molassy had this amazing boho dress (plus some other really cute ones!) – I got it in blush but they also have cream which I was equally in love with.

If you’re only going to get one thing to add to your summer wardrobe, I’d suggest a boho dress. It’s so cute, feminine, and nice and breezy for those really hot days!

Next up- EMBRACE ANIMAL PRINT

I can’t even tell you how happy I am that animal print has come in full force as a strong trend this year! I tend to prefer plain clothes without too many patterns and prefer to stick with darker colors. This cheetah print top had way too many hearts in my eyes to ignore though! I’ve been wearing it constantly to work with a black jacket and pencil skirt, or with black jeans.

This top specifically is also really light and airy, which is perfect for summer wardrobe.

I’m trying to ignore that of the hundreds of photos we took of this shirt, this one is somehow the only one that came out decent and I haaaaate how bad my back looks, haha! I’m definitely going to do another shoot with this shirt and you’ll get to see just how amazing it is, but in honor of keeping it real and showing that I still take pictures that aren’t that great and have bad angles… here we are. 🙂

This is the third item you need- a really good black tee!

The thing I love about this black tee is that it is really long, so it frames my tall body really well and I could probably wear it with leggings even if I wanted. (And I do. Because leggings are liiiiife.) I also really love the black detail here and I’m seriously considering getting this shirt in another color, it’s just that good!
