I love autumn, it is my favorite season. Summer is great, but it is just the set up for the glorious colored leaves, perfect temperature, and pumpkin everything that comes along with fall…and football season. I LOVE football season. Don’t get me wrong, I will never pretend to know everything that is going on in the game (typical me, unfortunately), but there is nothing I love more than the feeling of team spirit and watching your team all suited up and playing their hearts out. And of course, you can’t beat the fun food and appetizers for football games, so, in the spirit of the season, I have decided to share some of the amazing recipes I have found for great game day snacks! Even though I won’t be eating most or any of them this season (crying big tears as I write this) in attempt to get healthy before I sabotage my diet with peppermint everything over the holidays… so stay tuned for the show! 😉

PS- I do not own the rights to any of these images, nor do I pretend to claim these recipes are mine (for you guys who know my cooking history, that is obvious!) they are most definitely the works of other brilliant chefs/bloggers- If you click on the link, it will take you to the recipe!

cookie18. I can’t be the only one who thinks cookies belong at every event, including game day?? I’m not exactly the word’s best cook, but you guys, after fiddling around in the kitchen one night when I HAD to have chocolate chip cookies and I didn’t have brown sugar, I stumbled across the best recipe for chocolate chip cookies that don’t even need brown sugar and I just had to share it. So if you are a cookie lover like me and want to add some sweet to your other game day tasties…that recipe is here.
